Paged reading of books
March 17, 2009
We’ve made a small but important change to the way books are now displayed on the website. Instead of showing the entire book on one page, it is now broken up into pages. We hope this will make reading from your desktop browser easier, you can now bookmark in your browser which page you’re on. Let us know if you have any comments about this new feature.

What a great site! I love it that I am able to access books that my local library doesn’t have. I have just one suggestions!
Could you please bring back the old read all function? I’m sure some people prefer to click to read each page, but I prefer to scroll down as it is much easier. Sometimes I like to eat my dessert while I’m reading online and clicking for every page is very ANNOYING! I’m sure there are many people who do the same thing and would like to have this option. Perhaps you could place it as an option on the side??
Thank-you so much for trying to make wattpad a better experience.

I, too, am grateful for Wattpad’s existance. It let me finish a series that I couldn’t find the rest of the books for for several years.
However, the old method of reading the books was much more convenient. It allowed me to set up an auto scroll at my reading speed so that I could enjoy my tea while I read. Perhaps making both options an…option?

Thanks for all the great feedback! We didn’t realize how much people preferred the previous way to read. So we’ve made both options available, so now you can choose whichever suits you more. Keep the feedback coming!
