Wattpad v1.1 now available on iPhone

A new update is now available from the iTunes App Store (v1.1) make sure you grab it. It has a bunch of important bug fixes. If you encounter any problems, don’t forget to let us know.

New featured works

You may have noticed a new section on our website, which will regularly feature an author or their works. We hope to introduce Wattpad readers to new and interesting works that they may not be familiar with. The current feature is Flores Girl: The Children God Forgot by Erik John Bertel. Welcome back to the world, App World that is

After disappearing from the App World for a few weeks, Wattpad is once again available on your BlackBerry via App World. You’ll find the app for free under the “Reference & eBooks” category at the top. Thanks for all the great feedback, please keep them coming! If you like the app, please also write a review on App World to share with others.

Server upgrades

We’ve just completed a series of server upgrades which have improved the server speed and capacity greatly. We’re still making some final tweaks, but if you encounter any problems, please contact us as usual.

Wattpad Disappears from App World

A few days ago we mentioned that Wattpad was part of the BlackBerry App World launch. Since then, the app has been downloaded over 6,000 times! Unfortunately the app is no longer available, it was pulled by RIM while they are investigating the usage of the app. We are working with the App World team and hope to restore availability soon. In the meantime, you can still download it directly from our site, just point your BB browser to m.wattpad.com and follow the link to download the app for free.

In the meantime, we have released an update for our BB users. If you had problems connecting to the network in the earlier version, v1.3.5 should solve those problems. Keep sending us your feedback!

Wattpad on BlackBerry App World

The BlackBerry App World was launched today with much fanfare at CTIA in Las Vegas. We’re happy to announce that Wattpad is available on App World immediately! Just install App World onto your BlackBerry and search for Wattpad. Wattpad is the only ebook reader available on App World, best of all it’s free. You’ll have instant access to over 100,000 titles!
