When I look at someone’s story in the listing of all of them, it says, for example, 160 votes. But when I click on the story, at the top of the page it says 90 votes. Why?

In the listing, it may be showing all votes from all the parts, and when you click on the story, it is showing the number of votes for that specific part. That may be what you’re seeing.

So if someone has submitted a story with a number of parts, and people are voting for each part, is that fair?
September 28, 2009 at 4:20 pm
For rankings and contest, only the votes for each part is used, not the total. So this shouldn’t be a problem.

Will a story win if just one of its parts has the highest number of votes of all submissions?
How are winners chosen anyhow? Why number of votes alone or something else?
Sorry for all the questions. =)

Very easy! Just go to Wattpad.com and click on the green “Upload” tab. You can then upload the file (we support txt and a few other formats) or “copy and paste”. That’s all you have to do.
